Delivery Hero is a multi-national online food delivery company based in Berlin and operates in 70+ countries in Europe, Asia, Africa, Latin and South America, and the Middle East, and partners with 500k+ restaurants.
As Lead Product Designer, I played a key role in designing 0 → 1 products for foodora and foodpanda brands including consumer and restaurant websites and native apps, those contributed to company’s significant milestones such as; processing 293 million orders in 2017 in new platforms, company’s IPO and corporate development. Our product design became a blueprint for other brands of Delivery Hero. Additionally, I helped expand the design team from 2 to 8, driving recruitment efforts, team onboarding and development.

We made a full end-to-end redesign of foodora platforms, later on was scaled to become a product blue print for other entities such as foodpanda, Onlinepizza, Pizzaonline and more later on.
I played an active role building the foundations for the brand-agnostic design system piloting from foodora and foodpanda platforms.
In addition to leading design system work across teams in collaboration with our UI engineer, prepared documentations and guidelines for both designers and developers.
Besides my scope in B2C at Delivery Hero, I have also designed the android tablet application for restaurant order processing from 0-1, later on scaled to 21+ countries and languages across the globe.

As a lead designer, I expanded the design team from 2 to 8, driving recruitment, onboarding, and team development. This was my first role where I have extended my leadership capacities and took on roles that are related to improving operations, ways of working and project management.
